What is Scrip?How does Scrip work?
- An easy way to fundraise for Jubilee while saving $$$ toward your child's tuition.
- Last year, Jubilee families saved over $9,000 on tuition and raised an additional $6,000 for the school's Tuition Assistance Fund!
How do I get involved?
- Many local and national retail stores, grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations sell gift certificates and gift cards to Jubilee at a discount. We sell them to you at face value. The profit is split 60/40 between a tuition credit for you and Jubilee's Tuition Assistance Fund.
- Example: Jubilee buys a $100 Giant Eagle gift card for $95. Jubilee sells it to you for $100. Jubilee gets $2.00 for tuition assistance and YOU get $3.00 credit towards your tuition! You use the gift card at Giant Eagle to get a full $100 worth of groceries
When will I get my Order?
- Look at the JCS Scrip List of Vendors in your child's take home folder or online here - it will tell you: what retailers participate, the denominations of gift cards/certificates that are available, and the percentage discount.
- Fill out a Scrip Order form by listing the number of gift cards and the denomination you want. Place the completed Scrip Order form and your check made payable to Jubilee Christian School into your DESIGNATED SCRIP FOLDER. PLEASE USE ONLY THIS FOLDER! Envelopes get lost in the backpack black holes!
- Send your Scrip envelope containing your check payment and completed Scrip Order Form into school on Monday.
Afternoon kindergarten orders are due Friday.- When a holiday occurs on a Monday, Scrip orders will be processed on Tuesday. This will first occur in October. We will not process Labor Day week.
Do I need to participate every week?
- Your Scrip Envelope containing the gift cards/certificates you ordered, a receipt, and a new blank order form will come home in your child's take-home folder on Thursday. or you can pick up your order at Jubilee Christian School on Wednesday
How will I get my Tuition Credit?
- No. Scrip is available most every week, but you can send in orders on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
Questions?
- Every month, your Scrip total will be calculated for you. You will receive a coupon listing your tuition credit. You can then deduct the coupon amount from your tuition payment. If you prefer, you can donate the coupon amount to the JCS Tuition Assistance Fund or toward another family's tuition.
