The Mountains of Egypt

Tired of the desert? Why not try a change of pace and explore the mountains of Egypt. The mountains of Egypt have over 500 different species of flora and fauna not found anywhere else in Egypt. There is even something called a "mist oasis" there. So put on your hiking boots and head to the Mountains of Egypt.

Gebel Elba or Elba Mountain is a unique and extremely interesting place to explore. A good explorer might even get the chance to see the "mist oasis".

Mt Sinai No christian explorer could visit this part of the world without a visit to Mt. Sinai. As long as you're here, travel the 3 hour trek up the "Sikket Saydna Musa" (better known as The Path of Moses).

There are even more biblical sites to explore here. Stop here to learn about the place where Moses drew water from the rock, and where the Israelites fought the battle of Raphadim.
