Tuition & Tuition Assistance Information
The purpose of this fact sheet is to provide you with financial and payment information to assist your decision making process. Our goal is to make Jubilee Christian School an affordable Christian education that is available to families at various income levels. Listed below is an overview of our tuition, tuition reduction program & and payment plans Jubilee has to offer.
Tuition Assistance: Two Tuition Assistance programs are available to JCS families. Both tuition assistance programs are based on a family's income. They are the Children's Tuition Fund and the Jubilee Tuition Fund. To qualify for either tuition fund an application must be completed and submitted with a copy of the federal income tax form to the Finance Committee by June 2, 2008. Determinations are based on Federal income guidelines and range from 10% to 50%. Applications are accepted on a yearly basis and must be submitted within the time frame posted.
Tuition Reduction Program: Jubilee families have an opportunity to reduce their monthly tuition cost by participating in our Scrip program. Participation in the Scrip program is completely voluntary and has proven to be a wonderful way to save on your monthly tuition costs. Up to 60% of the funds generated through the Scrip program are applied directly towards your child's tuition. A family can further reduce their tuition cost by inviting friends and family to participate in the Scrip program as well.
Tuition Payment Plans: A tuition payment booklet is sent to every family in mid-June, along with the tuition letter, and the Parent Covenant. Tuition payments for most
parents are typically made over 12 months (July through June) to keep tuition payments low. However, special payment arrangements such as:
10 months (September through June), quarterly, or yearly, are available by contacting the Finance committee via the school office. Tuition is due on
the 10th of each month. Ministerial and sibling discounts are also available.
