Extended Day Policies

  • This program provides:
    1. Supervised care
    2. Planned activities
    3. Snack Time
      • Each child is expected to bring a snack daily for the Extended Day Program.
      • Milk or juice can be purchased for the Extended Day Program at the time of milk and juice sign up for the regular Jubilee Christian School lunch program.
    4. Homework time
      • If you wish your child to do homework at home, please inform the director.
      • Other activities will be provided to children not doing homework during the Extended Day Program.
  • Only children enrolled at Jubilee Christian School, Kindergarten through Grade 6, are eligible for the Extended Day Program.
  • The Extended Day Program is in operation when Jubilee Christian School is in session.
    • Snow days or other unforeseen emergency cancellations of the regular school day will cancel the Extended Day Program for that day as well.
    • The Extended Day Program will observe all holidays and In Service days which Jubilee Christian School observes.
      • It will be the parent's responsibility to arrange for care for their children on days which the Extended Day Program is not in operation.
      • Please consult the Jubilee Christian School calendar to be informed of those dates.
  • Tuition and selection of package for the next month is due by the 25th of the present month.
    (i.e. October's package selection and payment is due by September 25th)
    • Tuition received after this date will be subject to a $5.00 charge.
    • After the 1st day of the month there can be no further enrollment in that month's Extended Day Program.
    • Tuition for a five week month, or a shorter month in the school calendar will be adjusted and the parents informed previous to the package and payment selection date.
    • This program does not accept drop-in children. A package must be selected and paid for prior to each month.
      • If a parent needs to increase the number of days per week (because of an unanticipated occurrence) an adjustment can be made with the director of the program.
        • This adjustment will be added to the following month's tuition.
  • There is a $15.00 service charge for any insufficient funds checks.
  • Tuition for the month is discounted if a child is absent from the program due to illness for at least 5 consecutive days, if a Doctor's excuse is presented, or the child has a communicable illness.
    (i.e. chickenpox, conjunctivitis, etc.)
  • No tuition credit will be given for vacation time taken during that month once the package for the month has been selected.
  • There will be a $5.00 late fee charged for every 15 minutes, or part thereof, that a child remains after the agreed pick up time. The time of pick-up is pre-determined by the package you have selected.
    • The late fee(s) will be added to the next month's tuition.
  • Parents are required to sign a clipboard daily, indicating the time of pick-up, when picking up their child(ren).
  • Only those authorized, will be allowed to pick up a child.
    • The director must be notified with a phone call or signed note if there is a change in the routine pick-up.
  • Parents must sign the registration document to enroll their child in the Extended Day Program.
    • Signing the document indicates that you understand all of the policies of payment and package sign up, as well as the policies of the program indicated on this page.
