*Scrip orders are normally available for pick up at the school on Wednesday or can be brought home by your child in their Thursday take-home folder.
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money"
When you purchase Scrips, you're purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash. The scrip is issued by the national and local retailers where many of you already shop. These merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return ask you to support them by shopping with scrip at their stores. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you help lower your tuition cost and you earn revenue for Jubilee Christian School as well.
How does the Scrip Program work?
Once a week, JCS send home a flyer listing the participating retailers in our area and a Scrip order form. Participating is as simple as 1 2 3.The beauty of the Scrip concept lies in the fact that you can lower your monthly tuition cost and raise money for Jubilee at the same time by using your existing household shopping budget. Families may enlist relatives, friends and neighbors to buy Scrips too! But unlike other fundraising programs, Scrip families do not have to "sell" anything to raise money for their organization.
